Dr. Quang Luong combines a background in dentistry, mathematics, biology, and computer science with a commitment to patient care and professional education.
His career includes private practice, public health, Indian Health Service, and service as a dentist in the U.S. Army.
01Education and Professional Development
Dr. Luong earned his undergraduate education in Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of California, Riverside, followed by graduate studies in Mathematics and Biology. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Oklahoma in 2015.
His advanced education also includes MSc studies in Implantology and Wisdom Teeth Extraction through GIA in Korea and a Master of Science in Implantology and Third Molar Extractions from UniCamillus International Medical University in Rome, Italy. This international training reflects his continuing interest in surgical dentistry and practical approaches to complex treatment.
Before entering dentistry, Dr. Luong taught mathematics at the university and community college levels for five years. That experience continues to shape his teaching: breaking complex concepts into clear explanations that clinicians can apply in practice.
02Dental Practice and Veterans’ Care
Dr. Luong serves patients through Care Dental Spa, Temple Dental Spa, and Georgetown Dental Spa in Texas. His clinical interests include IV moderate sedation, emergency dentistry, implant treatment, and care for patients with dental anxiety and special needs.
As a U.S. Army veteran and former Captain, he brings a personal understanding of military service to his work with fellow veterans. Through VA Community Care, he treats veterans in his private practices, with particular attention to patients whose anxiety, PTSD, or other challenges make dental treatment difficult.

03Unified Dental Management
Dr. Luong founded Unified Dental Management (UDM) and works alongside Dr. Chris Robinson to bring dental practice operations, technology, and business support together.
Drawing on his computer science background and experience managing dental practices, Dr. Luong helped design UDM around the everyday needs of dental teams. Its platform and services address accounts receivable, insurance verification, reporting, inventory, marketing, AI-assisted patient communication, and continuing education.
His vision is to help practices coordinate their work, understand their performance, and reduce administrative burdens so their teams can focus more attention on patients.
04WISE and Sedation Education
Dr. Luong is the founder and CEO of Wisdom Implant Sedation Education (WISE), an educational platform focused on IV sedation, implantology, and wisdom tooth extraction.
He and his team teach IV moderate sedation in Texas, connecting chemistry, physiology, pharmacology, and mathematics with clinical assessment and practical skills.
Dr. Luong calls his educational approach Zen IV Moderate Sedation. Drawing on his experience treating veterans through VA Community Care, he uses the yin-and-yang concept as a metaphor for balance in sedation practice. His teaching emphasizes understanding medication effects alongside patient selection, monitoring, and clinical judgment, with patient safety as a central goal.
05Writing
Dr. Luong also writes under the pen name Minh Phúc Mộng Mơ. Writing provides another avenue for expression alongside his work in healthcare, education, and technology.
Across these fields, his work reflects an interest in solving practical problems, sharing knowledge, and expanding access to dental care.
